- Filstal Bridge, ABS/NBS Stuttgart-Augsburg
- New construction of a 485 m long railway bridge over the Fils using a semi-integral construction method
- Location of the bridge in limestone/claystone with fault zones in the valley area (Filstal fault)
- Pillars up to 75 metres high
- Pile foundations with bored piles (D = 1.5 m) in the limestone/claystone
- Creation of a three-dimensional FE model, mapping of the complex geology
- Calculation of spring stiffness
- Optimisation of the pile foundation
