Project description

The district of Göppingen is planning an approximately 18 km long cycle highway in the Filstal valley between Ebersbach-West and Süßen-Mitte. The cycle highway connects many residential and work locations with shopping and leisure facilities, thus creating the basis for sustainable mobility.

The new cycling infrastructure should create a continuous connection with as few intersections as possible, making cycling attractive, comfortable and safer. The district would like to further increase the share of cycling among all modes of transport and is aiming to shift the volume of traffic towards bicycles.
