Soil exploration and mapping
The data collected during the exploration is processed further as part of the soil mapping. The aim is a systematic, comprehensive inventory of soil conditions. The scale and content of the soil maps and thus the intensity of the soil mapping are based on the objectives and issues specified in each case. In particular, the respective official requirements must also be taken into account.
