New construction of a 667 m long viaduct in semi-integral construction over the Neckar river
Location of the bridge in the Upper/Middle Muschelkalk (limestone/claystone) with pronounced fissures and crevices on the valley flanks due to leaching and collapse of the Middle Muschelkalk
pillars up to 65 metres high
Pile foundations with bored piles (D = 1.5 m) in the Middle Muschelkalk and after carrying out rock stabilisation, shallow foundations in the Upper Muschelkalk
Extensive earthworks in the area of a former quarry
