Project description:
- DLR test site in Lampoldshausen - new construction of the P 5.2 test rig for the latest generation of Ariane IV rocket engines
- 23.5 m high slope cut, with 11.5 m high, 4-fold back-anchored soldier pile shoring and approx. 12 m excavation pit shoring with nailed shotcrete shell; dewatering
- 4-storey office, technical and utility building partially integrated into the site
- Test stand with deep excavation pit (so-called ‘chute’) for accommodating a large exhaust air pipe
- 22.5 m high angular retaining wall as a protective wall, behind it terrain filling up to the original site
Commissioned service profile:
- Subsoil exploration, hydrogeological investigations
- Geotechnical report
- Application for water rights and implementation of water law requirements
- Geotechnical advice during realisation
- Supervision of earthworks and backfilling
